The Loughmoe Purcell's owned in 1663, Total Acreage of 11.489 acres of land in County Tipperary, Ireland and these lands ran from Holy Cross to Templemore, Thurles, Tipperary and Kilkenny included the following Castles: Loughmoe Castle, Ballenhow Castle, Foulksrath Castle, Dovea Castle, Moynard Castle, Lisheentagit Castle, Brownestown Castle, and Rorodstown Castle. We can only show you four Photos of these Castles two of which we visited while in Thurles (Loughmoe Castle the Largest) and Tipperary (Ballenhow Round Castle).

This group picture of Isabel Watts Purcell, widow of Henry George Purcell 1890. The Boy on left is my Father Oren Max Purcell, 12 years old, Born in Lexington, Kentucky 1879, his older Brother Henry Clay Purcell, Born 1887 in Lexington, Kentucky - 14 years old, Their Mother Isabel Watts Purcell, 41 years old Born in Barren County, Kentucky 1859 and their little sister Gypsy Purcell, 10 years old, Born in Glasgow, Kentucky 1880. This Picture was made in Pilot Point, Texas 1890 four years after Henry George Purcell was accidentially Killed in Van Alystyne, Texas when hay wagon he was riding rolled over him causing his death. Bascombe Sledge Married Isabel Watts Purcell and Buster Earl Sledge was born one year later in 1891, he was half brother (No Photo) to the Purcell's and was son of Bascombe and Isabel Purcell Sledge.
